Why Take a Short Break from Sitting?
Many people can’t avoid sitting the whole day because their work requires them to do so. However, just sitting the whole day can greatly affect one’s health especially the heart’s condition. Sitting can cause build up of abdominal fats and these fats can compromise the heart’s health.
In a latest study, researchers have found out that taking a short break from sitting would be good enough to help in decreasing the abdominal fats and make your heart healthy. Having a smaller waistline would mean less abdominal fats and a healthier heart.
According to researchers, a high waist circumference increases a person’s risk to develop conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and various heart conditions. Sitting can increase the build up of fats on the abdominal area; hence, increasing the waistline measurement. With the results of the latest research, these experts found out that even short breaks can help in decreasing the build up of fats on the abdomen.
For people who are required to sit the whole day because of work, taking a short break can already help in contracting those abdominal muscles and burn fats in order to prevent build up on the abdominal region.
