Whole Grains can Eliminate the Fats on Your Belly
According to a new research, eating whole grains than refined grains can actually help in eliminating the fats on your belly. Adults who have been consuming three or more servings of whole grains per day had less fats on their belly than those who didn’t follow this type of diet.
Examples of whole grains would be 1 slice of whole wheat bread or half-cup of oatmeal. On the other hand, examples of refined grains would be a slice of white bread or a half-cup of white rice.
Based from studies, visceral fat is worse than subcutaneous fats. Belly fat has been linked to metabolic syndrome which involves symptoms such as hypertension, insulin resistance, and unhealthy cholesterol levels. Metabolic syndrome can further develop to cardiovascular disease or even Type 2 diabetes.
In order to prevent having this metabolic syndrome, it is very important to eliminate the fats on your belly. You can do this by doing cardio exercises and consuming foods that can help in eliminating these fats such as whole grains. Substituting refined grain foods with whole grain foods would be much better.

We try to avoid all the white refined stuff in our home and instead we love our whole grains! We have been eating some tasty grains and including them in every way we can. Our favorite is Kamut Wheat since it bakes up so soft – I love it in cookies and our kids love it in pancakes! It’s so good to know that there continues to be so many healthy benefits linked to eating whole grains!
Great information! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now. Thanks!
