Proper Diet and Regular Exercise – Key to Fight Heart Diseases
Multiple clinical studies have shown that those who develop coronary artery disease are those who have high levels of bad cholesterol in their blood. There are many factors that have caused the increased levels of cholesterol in the blood but it can be mostly blamed to poor diet and physical activity.
Researchers and experts in the field have been suggesting that proper diet and regular exercise are the best ways to lower these bad cholesterol levels. The risk for developing heart diseases such as coronary artery disease will be lower for people who have been exercising regularly and eating the right type and amount of foods.
According to experts, positive changes to your diet and your overall lifestyle can help in gradually reducing the bad cholesterol in your body. Experts suggest that people should be eating foods that are high in fiber such as whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Other healthy foods such as nuts and fish should also be included in the diet. These foods are rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients that will make a person healthy.
By reducing foods that are high in saturated fats and replacing them with healthier alternatives, heart diseases can be prevented and the mortality rate for people dying from heart diseases can be reduced.
