NEWS: Green Tea Can Promote Weight Loss According to Latest Studies
A study conducted in China shows that regular intake of green tea can significantly promote weight loss.
Green tea is well known to be a good source of catechins. These catechins are responsible for the weight loss effects of green tea as this can significantly affect people who are overweight or obese.
The study was conducted for ninety days or roughly three months at the Fudan University in Shanghai, China. It was funded by Lipton Institute of Tea. The study supports the evidence that tea has significant health benefits in the Asian population.
This study has researched about the effects of green tea intake on the body fat mass and the body weight. The researchers also investigated about the distribution of body fat. The results of the study showed that individuals who are taking green tea with high catechins have significantly lost weight after ninety days, while the group who took green tea at minimal amounts have also achieved some weight loss.
Because of this, the researchers have found out that green tea indeed has weight loss effects and religiously consuming it everyday can help in promoting weight loss especially to obese individuals who would like to achieve their ideal body weight.
