Lose 10 pounds and Boost Your Immune System
Having those excess fat stores around the abdominal muscles can cause your body’s defense system to be against you. This can lead to heart diseases and other illnesses; however, a new research conducted in Australia has found out that obese individuals who are able to slack off 10 pounds will be able to straighten the imbalances in their immune system.
Apparently, our immune system is made up of different kinds of cells that will protect the body from the invasion of germs, viruses, and bacteria. These cells should be working in harmony in order to maintain good health. However, numerous factors such as diet and presence of excessive body fats can cause an imbalance which causes the creation of immune cells that causes harm rather than protection to the body.
According the researchers, excess fats, particularly abdominal fats can trigger the production of pro-inflammatory immune cells. These cells will circulate in the body to promote inflammation. The chronic inflammation is linked to coronary artery diseases and other health problems.
With all these findings, the researchers are encouraging everyone to eliminate the abdominal fats by having a balanced diet and regular exercise in order to strengthen the immune system rather than weaken it.
