How to Keep Off One’s Weight
Losing weight is a great challenge; however, keeping off the lost weight is a greater challenge. A lot of people who have lost weight said that maintaining their ideal weight is actually much more difficult than losing weight.
It is frustrating for a lot of people because usually, those who have successfully lost weight started to gain back those pounds after a few weeks. Apparently, all of us are vulnerable to gain back the lost weight for a lot of reasons.
First is lack of motivation. When people started to notice that they have already lost weight, their motivation also drops. Another reason would be the hunger hormones. They suppressed hunger hormones would start to take back on you after you have lost weight.
Fortunately, it is still possible to maintain your ideal weight after you lost weight and that would be through major lifestyle change. Continue with your active and healthy lifestyle and do not go back to your old lifestyle. It is a matter of discipline and keeping your motivation.
