Eating High Fat Diet on Breakfast may not be as Bad as You Think

In general, metabolic syndrome is characterized by high levels of triglycerides, insulin resistance, other cardiovascular disease risks and abdominal obesity.
The study was about the influences of the foods eaten and the development of metabolic syndrome among mice. According to the findings, mice that were fed with high fat first thing upon waking up have a better or normal metabolic profiles thanĀ On the other hand, mice that were fed with high fat meal at the end of the day are more likely to gain weight, glucose intolerance, adiposity, and other symptoms of metabolic syndrome.
It is still not clear as to the timing of what you eat will affect in obesity although we are aware that the circadian rhythm affects the body’s metabolism and body weight. The study is considering that the first meal that you eat for the day shall program your body’s metabolism throughout the day. Therefore, it is important to eat foods that will make your metabolism work better.
