Does Taking Vitamin B Complex Promote Weight Loss?
Vitamin B can be obtained from your diet even without the need to take Vitamin B complex. Some of the food sources of vitamin b would include chicken, fish, beef, eggs, peanuts, green leafy vegetables, and fortified breakfast cereals.
Although Vitamin B complex is important to one’s diet, it will not help you to lose weight or achieve weight loss faster. Vitamin B can assist in metabolizing fat and protein to convert it to energy. Taking extra vitamin B will not speed your metabolism or accelerate weight loss, unlike what others would claim.
If you would like to lose weight and take vitamin B at the same time, you should consider choosing low fat dietary sources of vitamin B.
There is no need for you to have those Vitamin B shots or take extra vitamin B complex with higher doses since it can also result to harmful effects such as vision problems, liver damage, and stomach ulcers.
