Determining the Ideal Weight
Generally speaking, the person’s ideal weight is determined by numerous factors. These factors include age, height, gender, bone density, and muscle-fat ratio.
Actually, the ideal weight of a person is not specific. One person can have a different ideal weight from another. Hence, it is not advisable to compare your ideal weight to another person.
Apparently, there are a lot of ways on how to compute for the ideal weight of the person. It can either be through computation of the Body Mass Index or BMI, Waist-hip ratio or WHR, and Body Fat percentage.
Although you will be able to compute for your ideal body weight through these different methods, it can still be difficult to identify the exact ideal weight of the person, since all of these are just estimates.
If you are trying to lose weight, it would be best to target your waist, hips, and chest measurements and identify your body fat percentage.
