Being Overweight at a Young Age can Lead Serious Problems at the Later Years
Apparently, an obese person is not in a healthy state. However, when a person who is overweight or obese at a young age will definitely have serious health conditions in the later years of their life.
Obesity increases the person’s risk for developing serious medical conditions such as heart attack, stroke, and even cancer. According to experts, those who are in their twenties with a blood pressure of 136/88 with a waistline of 36-40 is in big trouble. If people falling under this category do not change lifestyle, when they reach their 40′s they will definitely have a heart attack or stroke.
It might sound fearful and intimidating, but it is very true. The increased level of HDL or high density lipoprotein for a long time can cause blockage and hardening of the arteries which causes the heart disease and the stroke. However, the dreadful condition can be prevented as long as the person changes his/her lifestyle before he/she reaches the age of 40.
Aside from heart disease and stroke, an obese individual is also at risk for developing other serious medical conditions. Hence, in order to prevent all of these conditions, it is recommended to have a regular exercise accompanied with a balanced diet.
